Congratulations to Hazel Yoder and Jake Schwanke!
Hazel was nominated by Mrs. Smith for being very helpful to a new student in her Algebra II class, helping that student get caught up and showing her how to use an advanced calculator.
Jake was nominated by Mrs. Greenwell for his outstanding peer support in class. After Mrs. Greenwell returned rough drafts for students to revise, Jake voluntarily stepped in to help a classmate. He quietly and respectfully explained the errors and the grammar rules behind them, helping the student understand not only what to fix but why it needed to be corrected. His willingness to support others demonstrated kindness and a strong grasp of the material.
