There will be no MACTEC tomorrow due to Macon's Homecoming. MACTEC students need to be at school at 11:20am for 3rd block.

Tomorrow: The school building will be under a boil order tomorrow. We will have plenty of bottled water for students and will use paper and plastic for lunch and breakfast.

Rayna was nominated by Mrs. Jackson for consistently coming in and puts chairs down in my room without being asked. She appreciates Rayna's willingness to help out. Educators of the Month! Congratulations to Jaime Williams and Denise Shockley! Mrs. Williams was nominated by Ms. Trivette for getting all of our students excited about reading! Her summer program is always well run and has a lot of participants. She does great things with the Mark Twain Reading Challenge, helping students find just the right book for them, and always willing to chip in and help share her love of reading with students. Mrs. Williams also writes grants to help teachers get supplies for their classrooms and organizations! Mrs. Shockley was nominated by Mr. Daniel for her hard work and determination in the SPED departments. She has put in a ton of time and energy into making sure every student succeeds at high levels while also keeping them accountable to high standards!
