The North Shelby Raiders did extremely well today at the Lewis and Clark Conference Track Meet! The JH Girls won the meet as a team and the Varisty Boys placed 2nd as a team! #WeAreNS

D.A.R.E. Graduation was held this morning for the 5th graders. Congratulations to Korbin Hinshaw and Mason Culler for winning the essay contest. Thank you to Deputy Mefford and the Shelby County Sheriff's Department for sponsoring this program to our students.

Sixth grade enjoyed their field trip to Runge Nature Center. They learned about wildlife native to Missouri along the trails and got to search for tadpoles and salamanders after learning about amphibians.

North Shelby is proud to showcase our High School Track Records on a new display board! We are excited to showcase our athletes and their accomplishments! Track records will be updated at the end of each season. The board now represents our records as of the start of the 2025-2026 school year. #WeAreNS

Congratulations to Mrs. Melissa Smith and Ms. Katelyn Gibson!

Mrs. Smith was nominated by Lexy Claus for being a wonderful teacher. She works very hard to teach us everything we need to know. She also does a great job of making sure that we understand everything she teaches us. Mr. Daniel adds that Mrs. Smith is the gold standard of being a North Shelby Teacher. She has always pushed her students to the best of their abilities!

Ms. Gibson was nominated by Ms. Rich for demonstrating true love and compassion for her work every single day. Her commitment shines through in everything she does, and she is always willing to help others with kindness and care. Macon has cancelled classes for today. There will be no MacTech. Students need to be at school by the start of 3rd block.
