Kindergarten baked gingerbread men today, but when they went to get them from the oven they were gone! The gingerbread men left clues around the school on how to find them. Kindergartners searched all over with the help of Officer Barton and other staff members that had an unfortunate encounter with the men. Thank goodness they have been captured!

Emelia Flores will be joining approximately 100 high school juniors from Missouri and more than 1,600 juniors from across the U.S. to explore Washington, D.C. while learning about government, cooperatives, leadership, and history. She earned this honor through a contest sponsored by Macon Electric Cooperative and was selected as a finalist after submitting her essay, “The Power of Community: How Rural Electric Cooperatives Shape Our Future,” and completing the interview process.

Elementary Christmas Concert tonight at 7pm in the High School Gym. Art Show will take place in Elementary Gym.
Doors will open at 6:30pm.
Concert will be streamed on NS YouTube Channel and our HudlFan Channel.

Bus Routes will travel on normal routes starting tomorrow morning. We will travel down gravel roads.

High School Students of the Week!
4 students this week because of the snow days last week!
Congratulations to Trevor Douglass, Ally Rich, Quintin Weideman, and Drake Prange!
Trevor was nominated by Mrs. Weber's kindergarten class for being an incredible helper. Alway willing to dive into what the students are doing withoit being being asked. Trevor's positive attitude and willingness to help makes such a difference in their classroom.
Ally was nominated by Wagner Portraits for her outstanding leadership during picture retakes and senior composite day. She took initiative in organizing students, coordinating lineups, and serving as an NS liaison for whatever was needed.
Quintin was nominated by Ms. Gibson's kindergarten class for coming in each day and taking initiative to work with students and help where there is a need. At recess, the students love that he plays with them, and visits with them at lunch.
Drake was nominated by Mr. Davis for seeing that Mr. Davis had a dead truck battery and asked if he could help him in any way.

North Shelby FCCLA, FFA, Student Council, 4th grade, and some individual teachers adopted 12 Macon and Shelby County foster kids for Christmas. Student Council members delivered gifts to be distributed. We love having the opportunity to help students in our community!



All Sophomores will go to MACTEC tomorrow to tour the building and classes. Bus leaves at 7:20am and returns at 11:40am.
